The Western High Court delivered on Monday morning its judgment on the Democratic Alliance’s bid to have Hlaudi Motsoeneng removed from the SABC. The court ruled that the appointment of Hlaudi Motsoeneng as Group Executive of Corporate Affairs at the South African Broadcasting Cooperation (SABC) is unlawful and irrational.
Judge Owen Rogers said Motsoeneng is not entitled to occupy any position in the SABC, until the Public Protector’s report has been set aside or disciplinary proceedings against him are concluded.
Hlaudi is unemployed @sabc, new D.C.Must be instituted. He must pay legal fees personal. Victory for the rule of law and constitutionalism.
